Application Method

Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet !atting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth. Treat any knots in wood with a suitable knotting solution. Any surface defects must be filled with a suitable filler. Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
